Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Network Administrator for a 3rd shift (10PM–6AM) to support CESO efforts in Arlington, VA. The role focuses on monitoring network performance, maintaining secure web services, and implementing network maintenance and security across an automated platform.

Required are active TS/SCI, DoD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+), a BS in CS/IT or equivalent experience, and readiness for 24×7 coverage including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• DoD 8570 certification at least IAT level II (eg Security+ce).
• BS in computer science or IT with 4+ years of experience; degree optional with related experience.
• Willing to work 24×7 shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience monitoring network performance, security, and availability.
• Experience configuring switches and routers; knowledge of BGP/OSPF.
• Ability to configure 802.1x and troubleshoot S2S/IPSEC tunnels.

Responsibilities

• Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure availability.
• Proactively identify risks and mitigate issues in the network.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement network maintenance, installation, and security.
• Receive and review user requests to resolve access issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues or escalate to senior engineers.
• Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software.
