Hoffer Plastics in Illinois is seeking Set Up/Mold Technicians for the 3rd shift. You will set up molds, input process parameters, and maintain a clean, safe work area in line with 5S standards.

The role includes working with quality inspectors to ensure part quality and implies a structured four-level progression with pay determined by skill level. Starting pay ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour, plus an 8% shift premium.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and math proficiency.
• Proficient reading/writing English.

Responsibilities

• Set up mold and color changes to meet production demands.
• Set molding process parameters with supervisor assistance.
• Monitor production for accuracy and efficiency; identify defects with quality inspectors.
• Perform material handler duties as assigned.
• Troubleshoot process, machine, and equipment problems to reduce downtime.
