Job summary

Stratas Foods is hiring an entry-level Mixer I for the 3rd shift (11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.) with training on 1st or 2nd shift as needed. Candidates must be able to perform housekeeping, prep packaging, and documentation while progressing through qualification requirements.

Work may include overtime and weekend hours. The role involves learning mixing processes, equipment operation, safety requirements, and product specifications in a food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Related Experience: Mixing machine operation, blending, food industry, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Qualification Requirement: Must successfully complete designated training and qualification requirements for assigned mixer systems.
• Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge - data entry

Responsibilities

• Recipe construction/adjustment and understanding.
• Operate and tend machines to mix or blend a wide variety of food products.
• Monitor gauges and instruments to adjust materials and temperatures for quality and safety.
• Fill out documentation regarding product movements and ingredients.
• Develop proficiency in equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and documentation procedures.
