Some MIG experience is required, with training available for candidates who have completed a welding program or have prior welding exposure. Essential requirements include passing a weld test, owning a welding helmet, steel-toe boots, and a strong focus on safety and

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience required.
• Welding experience may come from a welding school/program or previous work experience.
• Ability to successfully pass a weld test.
• At least 1 year of prior welding experience preferred.
• Must have your own speed lens welding helmet.
• Steel-toe work boots required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good attendance and reliability.
• High regard for workplace safety.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen.

Responsibilities

• Use MIG welding to build and assemble automotive racks
• Perform production work when welding work slows down
• Operate machines and cut metal to various lengths
• Assemble racks by hand
• Stack completed racks
• Clean and wash parts
• Maintain clean and organized workstations
• Follow all safety and quality procedures
