Job summary

The Advance Group is seeking dependable MIG Welders for Petersburg, MI, on the 1st shift. You will fabricate and assemble automotive racks and metal structures using welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices. Maintain quality, safety, and adherence to customer specifications while working in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years MIG welding experience preferred.
• Recent welding graduates are encouraged to apply.

Job Description for Welder

As a MIG Welder, you will fabricate and assemble automotive racks and metal structures using welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring devices. Team members are expected to maintain quality standards, follow safety procedures, and help ensure products meet customer specifications.

Responsibilities of Welder

• Perform MIG welding on automotive racks and metal components
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect parts and finished products for quality and accuracy

• Use hand and power tools as needed

Qualifications for Welder

• 1st Shift Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Optional Saturday: 7:00 AM – 11:30 AM
