Aerotek in Bedford, PA is seeking experienced MIG Welders for production welding on JLG baskets and A-frames. The role requires reading blueprints, performing MIG welds, and meeting quality and safety standards.

Candidates must pass a horizontal MIG welding test and a written assessment; those who do not initially pass may start in a laborer capacity while developing the skills needed to meet welding standards. This is a contract-to-hire position on 3rd shift.

Qualificações

• 6 months MIG welding experience in a production/manufacturing setting.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Able to pass horizontal MIG welding test and written assessment.
• Proficient MIG welding bead formation and penetration.
• Experience using grinding tools for finishing.
• Able to use tape measure and verify dimensions/tolerances.
• Reliable attendance in prior roles.
• Detail-oriented with quality welds.
• Work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsabilidades

• Perform MIG welding on production components to meet quality and safety standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols for specifications.
• Pass horizontal MIG welding test and written assessment.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Use grinding tools to finish and prepare welded parts.
• Use tape measures to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Support fabrication by fitting and positioning workpieces before welding.
• Maintain consistent attendance to support production schedules.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily output goals.
