Job summary

Navion of Shelby, part of Navion Senior Living, seeks Certified Medication Technicians for medication administration and resident care oversight in a cutting-edge Assisted Living community.

This is a part-time, 3rd shift position with every-other-weekend work and a weekend shift differential. The role includes employee wage access via Tapcheck and opportunities for career advancement within Navion’s supportive team.

Qualifications

• State-approved Medication Aide course completed.
• Personal Care Assistant or CNA certification required.
• Must communicate effectively in written and oral form within an interdisciplinary care setting.
• Ability to work with seniors safely and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver medication administration and oversee resident care.
• Maintain resident rights with dignity and respect.
• Attend in-service trainings and ongoing state-required education.
• Communicate changes in a resident's condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to HIPAA and protect resident confidentiality.
• Maintain professional appearance and adhere to dress code.
• Complete documentation clearly and promptly.
• Operate equipment safely and per training.
• Follow infection control practices for all activities.
• Know fire and emergency procedures and report safety violations.
