Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Gaffney, SC is seeking a skilled Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician to diagnose and repair equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and support safe, efficient production. You will work with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems and read blueprints to keep molding presses running smoothly.

The role requires a two-year Mechatronics degree or 5 years of related experience, PLC/electrical/mechanical troubleshooting, and strong teamwork with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair hydraulic or pneumatic components.
• Diagnose and fix electrical issues and control systems.
• Test production equipment operating characteristics and troubleshoot.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
• Inspect molding presses and monitor oil levels.
• Install or modify equipment with team to improve reliability and safety.
• Complete daily paperwork and assign work.
• Maintain a neat and safe work area.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Maintain compliance with EH&S programs.
