Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a 3rd Shift Stocker to manage inventory of molding materials in a manufacturing setting. You will receive, unload, stock, and organize materials, ensuring accurate labeling and easy retrieval to support ongoing production.

Your role includes restocking, inventory counts, and maintaining records. You will inspect materials for damage, report issues, and coordinate with production teams to fulfill orders while upholding safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and stock molding materials such as raw materials, molds, and related supplies.
• Arrange and organize molds and other materials in the stockroom according to established procedures.
• Ensure that items are labeled correctly and stored in a manner that allows for easy retrieval.
• Monitor inventory levels of molding materials and restock as needed to support ongoing production requirements.
• Keep track of the quantity, type, and condition of molding materials.
• Perform regular inventory counts and update records to ensure accuracy.
• Inspect molds and other materials for damages, defects, or wear; report issues and arrange repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Work with production teams to fulfill orders for molds and materials needed for various manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, transactions, and any issues related to molding materials.
• Communicate with production teams, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate material flow and address supply chain issues.
• Adhere to safety guidelines when handling and storing molding materials; use proper lifting techniques and equipment to prevent injuries.
• Keep the molding stockroom clean and organized; dispose of waste properly.
• Collaborate with other stockers and production team members to ensure seamless operations and efficient material flow.
