Job summary

Copperweld is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift in Fayetteville, TN to ensure efficient material movement and warehouse organization, operating forklifts, loading/unloading, and coordinating with production.

Candidates should have basic computer skills (PLEX), be flexible for overtime, and willing to obtain forklift license; experience in manufacturing preferred; safety and environmental standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills in company systems (PLEX, email, etc.).
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to develop and maintain knowledge and proficiency to perform multiple machine operations.
• Flexibility to work on any shift including continuous operations.
• Team player and self-starter with good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport materials to and from production areas.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage areas, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with production staff to ensure timely availability of materials for manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Will be required to obtain forklift license.
• Adhere to Copperweld's safety and environmental standards.
