Job summary

Copperweld Bimetallics, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 3rd shift (12-hour rotating schedule) in Fayetteville, TN. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment to meet Copperweld’s goals.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic units, drives and more; reading diagrams; welding; and PLCs knowledge. Requires a technical degree and shift flexibility.

Qualifications

Two-year technical degree required.
Three or more years of experience as an Industrial Electrician or Maintenance Mechanic preferred.
Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
Flexibility to work on any shift.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair on motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulic units, drives, lift trucks and other industrial equipment.
Disassemble, evaluate parts, replace as needed and reassemble equipment.
Work with hydraulics, pneumatics and fluid power systems.
Welding and fabricating machine parts from drawings when needed.
Use measuring and electrical testing tools to diagnose issues.
Read wiring schematics, schematics and ladder logic; understand AC/DC and variable frequency drives.
