Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Material Handler for the 3rd shift in Reno, NV. The role involves operating a forklift, moving materials, loading/unloading trailers, and organizing storage areas while adhering to LEAN principles.

The position offers a shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM with a base hourly rate plus a $1 shift differential. Candidates should have forklift experience and a valid license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of forklift or material handling experience in a manufacturing or logistics setting.
• Must possess a valid and current driver’s license.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration or work authorization for this position.
• No relocation benefit is offered; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Reno, NV.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move raw materials, components, supplies and finished goods.
• Load and unload trailers as required.
• Pick and pull stock for delivery.
• Organize pallet area and storage locations in yard and building.
• Complete daily forklift inspection.
• Oversee recycling duties for the assigned area (cardboard, baler operations).
• Work overtime as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems and maintain clean, safe work areas.
