Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation is hiring for a 3rd shift position in its manufacturing operations in Charlotte, NC. The role involves handling data entry, forklift tasks, and coordination with 3PL to ensure timely delivery of parts and materials.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, line support for parts, off-site collaboration when needed, and daily SAP inventory duties. The candidate should be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of experience in a high-volume, high-complexity manufacturing environment.
• 1+ year of Data Entry experience.
• 1+ year of Forklift experience.
• 1+ year of experience with Microsoft Office Suites.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all safety requirements and wear PPE.
• Act as first response to the line for parts not delivered and determine best ordering method.
• Act as first response to the line for Kits not delivered to point of use and determine best ordering method.
• Flexible in working off-site at Carrier when needed to drive material flow improvement activities.
• Execute daily walks with the 3PL to ensure parts are picked on time and in point of use when required.
• Perform end of shift review with 3PL to ensure preparedness for the following morning.
• Work with warehouse to ensure delivery of emergency orders.
• Identify trends in parts not delivered to the point of use and work with team to identify root cause.
