Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Cleveland, OH is hiring a Utility Worker for the 3rd shift (11:00 PM – 7:00 AM). This full-time, on-site role supports setup, operation, and maintenance of production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, manufacturing experience (plastics preferred), and the ability to operate various machinery safely. Strong mechanical aptitude, teamwork, and willingness to work overtime or weekends are valued.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing experience preferred, plastics industry.
• Ability to operate various types of machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment as per schedule.
• Manage material inventory, ensuring that all supplies are readily available for production processes.
• Support team members in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to comply with safety standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality production output.
• Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
