Pretium Packaging is seeking a Utility Worker to join our Cleveland, Ohio facility. This role focuses on ensuring smooth operation and maintenance of production processes to support efficient manufacturing outputs.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, routine inspections, material inventory management, and assisting teammates in troubleshooting. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be willing to work overtime with a safety‑minded approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing, preferably within plastics.
• Ability to operate various types of machinery safely and efficiently.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment as per schedule.
• Manage material inventory, ensuring that all supplies are readily available for production processes.
• Support team members in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area to comply with safety standards.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure high-quality production output.
• Participate in safety training sessions and adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines.
