Job summary

Shamrock Technologies Inc is seeking an entry-level Manufacturing Technician for the Henderson, KY facility. The role involves operating and monitoring production equipment, following procedures, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

You will participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support data collection, training, and shift handoffs. Physical requirements include standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating a forklift as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in manufacturing or related training.
• Ability to read, understand and follow written instructions and procedures.
• Experience with inventory tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and monitor production equipment per procedures.
• Produce high-quality products meeting specifications, minimizing defects.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Assist in process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support Lean Six Sigma/continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.
• Follow EHS guidelines and participate in safety training.
• Participate in quality control and report non-conforming issues.
• Identify potential equipment malfunctions and assist maintenance staff with troubleshooting.
• Record production data accurately and promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S and safety rules.
• Safely operate forklift to move materials and products.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and team members to ensure smooth production flow.
• Assist in training new technicians or team members as required.
