Job summary

Shamrock Technologies in Henderson, KY seeks a Lab Technician to ensure processes and products meet quality specs. Responsibilities include testing, data recording, equipment calibration, and safety compliance. Requires 3+ years in a lab, plus a Math/Science degree and color vision testing.

You will work under QC/Plant management, support production, and contribute to 5S and lab procedures updates. Training provided for equipment and processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Minimum 3 years of work experience in a lab testing environment.
• Excellent analytical / problem solving skills.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work under little or no supervision.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task effectively.
• Must pass Ishihara test (color blind test).

Responsibilities

• Be certified to the Lab Technician training matrix.
• Adhere to all site-wide safety regulations and procedures.
• Review and update lab procedures as needed with Quality Manager.
• Calibrate and maintain cleanliness of testing equipment and lab spaces.
• Prepare specimens and samples for testing.
• Keep accurate records of testing results.
• Provide analysis of lab observations.
• Enter test data for Finished Goods COA/Transfer to unrestricted for shipping.
• Authority to determine when a production line should be shut down due to non-conforming material.
• Daily morning review of MFR data and report issues to management.
