Oatey is seeking an assembly-focused production associate in Shakopee, Minnesota to support the assembly of plumbing products. You will read SOPs, assemble components, and follow daily schedules in a hands-on manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, basic math, and good communication, with opportunities for training and career growth within a large, veteran-owned manufacturing company.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Position Summary:

Demonstrates proficiency and regularly performs assembly duties for large, small, and long test balls, municipal balls, tubes and inserts, rubber cutters, PET Foam, wall drains, PVC drains, kitting, drain kit packaging, or other specialty products.

• Set up equipment and tools for daily build.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to operate machinery.
• Ability to read blueprints or ability and willingness to learn.
• Accuracy in measuring.
• Decision-making skills.
• One (1) to two (2) years in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Education and Certification:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Compensation Range for the Position:

$15.71 - $20.03 - $24.35 USD

Offer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.
