Job summary

Quietflex Manufacturing, a Daikin Industries company, seeks a Manufacturing Supervisor for the 3rd shift to lead production teams and drive continuous improvement. You will coach staff, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and manage daily production activities in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in manufacturing with 3+ years in leadership, strong Lean knowledge, and experience with MAPICS and Kronos.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 8 years manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach a production team on the 3rd shift to meet production schedules.
• Plan and assign work, procure parts, and communicate production demands while performing quality and safety audits.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Meet and exceed key metrics including safety, quality, cost and delivery.
• Promote Lean tools to improve efficiency, reduce waste and improve quality and safety results.
• Complete required production reports, scrap tickets and discipline notices; map and track KPIs.
