Job summary

Pregis is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our Sussex manufacturing operation. In this role you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain production equipment while helping maximize equipment reliability, efficiency, and uptime.

This position is ideal for maintenance professionals with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience who enjoy solving complex equipment challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control systems.
Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Install, maintain, and support production machinery and equipment upgrades.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and machine control systems.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation.
Manage and maintain maintenance spare parts inventory.
Support fabrication, repair, and modification of tooling, fixtures, and equipment components.
Assist with training and cross-training of maintenance and production team members.
Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures and policies.
