Job summary

Pac Worldwide Corporation is hiring for a 3rd shift supervisor for Sunday through Thursday, 11pm–7am. You will support staffing, safety investigations, and equipment troubleshooting across the packaging floor.

This role requires strong attendance, the ability to read and follow procedures, and good English communication. The job involves supervising operators, ensuring 5S standards, supporting training, and coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Must adapt and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain good attendance.
• Must have a high school diploma or its equivalency.
• 2 years knowledge of all packaging equipment and procedures.
• 2 years in flexible packaging industry or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety inspections and address deficiencies or maintenance requests.
• Promote safe behaviors and ensure procedures are followed.
• Execute safety, quality and productivity standard work as assigned.
• Verify quality checks of machines throughout the department.
• Assist supervisor with staffing, investigations, and shift projects.
• Collaborate with Training Team to train new employees.
• Communicate effectively to promote teamwork and a positive atmosphere.
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards and assign duties accordingly.
• Assist Operators with setups and downtime troubleshooting.
• Run machines in the production area and resolve basic issues.
• Coordinate with shift maintenance for repairs and troubleshooting.
• Provide daily feedback on machine and personnel performance.
• Enforce employee handbook rules and safety policies.
• Knowledge of scheduling programs for converting/thermoforming.
• Understand production data collection and material management systems.
• Serve as supervisor in the absence of management.
• Willing to work overtime on short notice.
