Job summary

Becton, Dickinson and Company in El Paso, TX is seeking a Shift Leader to guide manufacturing teams on 3rd shift (Wed/Thu 3rd; Sat/Sun 6pm–6am) and ensure safe, compliant production of medical devices. You will lead day-to-day operations, drive Lean and continuous improvement, manage staffing, and partner with QA/HSE to meet safety, quality and delivery goals.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years in manufacturing within regulated environments; strong leadership and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, business administration, industrial technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience in regulated environments (FDA/GMP/ISO).
• Ability to lead and manage cross-shift teams and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing operations during assigned shift to meet production schedules and customer requirements.
• Direct production associates and team leads, fostering a positive, accountable, and high-performance culture.
• Promote safety culture and ensure EHS compliance; conduct risk assessments and investigations as needed.
• Ensure adherence to FDA, GMP, ISO 13485, and BD Quality System requirements.
• Drive production targets while maintaining product quality and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor line performance, staffing, downtime, and productivity; ensure effective shift handoffs.
• Collaborate with HR on attendance, coaching, and training needs.
