Job summary

BD in USA TX - El Paso is seeking a manufacturing leader to oversee packaging operations, champion safety, ensure GMP/GDP compliance, and drive continuous improvement on a fast-paced line.

You will coach hourly staff, lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and HR to meet production targets. On-site presence is required most weeks. Some roles may require vaccination/testing per policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• At least 3 years of manufacturing leadership or supervision.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments preferred (Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, FDA-regulated).
• Experience leading hourly production employees in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day packaging activities to achieve production schedules and customer requirements.
• Monitor KPIs including Safety, Quality, OEE, Scrap, Yield, and Schedule Adherence.
• Identify and remove operational barriers to improve productivity and performance.
• Support line startups, changeovers, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates; conduct performance reviews.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
