Job summary

Batory Foods Inc is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 3rd shift (9:30pm–6:00am) to lead a manufacturing center focused on shipping, receiving, and compliance with food safety standards. He/she will coordinate Inventory Control, Quality Control, Logistics, and Safety across cross‑functional teams.

Applicants should have 7+ years in warehouse settings with at least 3 years in supervision, a forklift certification, and strong computer skills.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in a warehouse environment with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Forklift Operator certification.
• Strong computer skills.
• Experience with Data Collection, Metrics, and KPIs.
• Prior experience with software applications including WMS, YMS, Billing Management, Labor Management, etc. preferred; Six Sigma Green Belt preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in staffing determinations for optimum operations.
• Manages hiring, orientation, evaluation, and staff development with the Facility Manager.
• Develops reinforcement strategies to shape team behaviours, including disciplinary actions if needed.
• Develops procedures to ensure high quality work processes meeting customer needs.
• Monitors daily schedule and resource utilization to ensure adherence.
• Ensures safety, housekeeping, and damage minimization per policy; enforces procedures.
• Leads off-shift operations to deliver KPIs on safety, quality, cost and service.
• Manages production and may coordinate other departments as needed.
• Oversees production line readiness, changeovers, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Analyses performance data to identify business opportunities and implements process improvements.
