Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a company based in Hutchins, TX. The role focuses on installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying equipment and facilities.

You will work 3rd shift (Mon-Fri, 6pm-6am) with training on 1st shift (6am-6pm) for 5-6 months, earning $25.00 per hour. Must be able to perform outdoor work and lift/maintain various mechanical components. The role includes overtime and potential temp-to-hire conversion.

Qualifications

Performs work under general supervision
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to perform work that is outdoors in varying and potentially adverse conditions.
Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
Must be familiar with LOTO practices

Responsibilities

Coordinate the ordering of parts with purchasers
Use a wide variety of hand, power, and machine tools to perform assignments.
Troubleshoot and repair valves, gauges, gaskets, belts
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Maintains records of materials, jobs, and other pertinent information.
Perform emergency repairs and willing to work other than normal schedule hours.
Testing instruments to repair and maintain, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals
Experience with automated packaging equipment (pneumatic, electrical, Hydraulic)
