Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to service and maintain electro-mechanical equipment, including robotic washlines, autoclaves, boilers, and related systems across sites. You will lead daily cleaning and upkeep of the Sturtevant facility and coordinate with custodial staff as needed.

You will perform start-up, regulation, repair, and shutdown of equipment, monitor controls, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining electro-mechanical equipment and robotics.
• Welding and basic repair skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and PLC-controlled machines.
• Willingness to work 3rd shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of equipment
• Hands-on on-site troubleshooting, service, and repairs
• Coordinate spare parts and travel with Service/Engineering
• Assemble, align, and install equipment and upgrades within budget
• Interface with plant ops, global ops, and suppliers
• Arrange downtime with Plant Managers for maintenance
• Weekly reports of completed tasks
• Remote service assistance to return plants to production
• Maintain Washsmart inventory at Daniels locations
