Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to service and maintain electro‑mechanical equipment, including the robotic washline, autoclaves, boilers, and other site equipment at the Sturtevant facility. You will oversee daily cleaning and upkeep under custodial supervision and lead a maintenance team to support local and regional operations.

You will start up, regulate, repair, and shut down equipment, monitor meters and controls, and use test equipment to service HVAC,

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with assemblies and robotics.
• Welding experience for basic repair work.
• Ability to identify and repair electrical issues and communicate fault conditions.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC‑controlled machines with support

Responsibilities

• Daily maintenance of equipment.
• Hands‑on on‑site troubleshooting, service, and repairs.
• Coordinate with Service and Engineering to arrange spare parts and travel.
• Assemble, align, and install equipment and upgrades within timeline and budget.
• Interface with cross‑functional teams such as plant operations and suppliers.
• Communicate downtime needs to Plant Managers.
• Provide weekly reports of tasks completed and outstanding work.
• Provide remote service assistance to get plants back in production quickly.
• Maintain Washsmart inventory with plant management to ensure stock levels
