Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 3rd shift at our Frankfort, IN location. The role focuses on machinery troubleshooting on production lines within a team-oriented, climate-controlled facility.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 10:30 pm–6:30 am with a pay range of $34.01–$42.52 per hour and a 1$ shift differential for the 2nd/3rd shifts. Responsibilities include welding, interpreting blueprints, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and maintaining equipment

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and schematics (minimum qualification).
• Understand PLC concepts (P.L.C.).
• Knowledge of industrial electrical symbols and line diagrams, control logic diagrams, AC/DC motors and controllers.
• Maintain consistent high quality in work habits and accurate records.
• Combination of education and experience: high school diploma or equivalent plus two years of trade school or related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Arc and gas welding, cutting, brazing, silver and soft soldering.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for machines and buildings.
• Troubleshoot electrical A/C and D/C circuits with metering equipment; hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Use basic shop tools (lathes, mills, drills, saws, grinders).
• Maintain preventative maintenance programs in assigned areas and facilities.
• Repair equipment with minimal production interruption; relocate equipment as needed.
• Track maintenance inventory via computerized system.
• Inspect, dismantle, service, reassemble, test and adjust equipment for safe operation.
• Provide feedback for corrective action to improve equipment reliability.
• Follow DOT, HAZMAT and environmental policies; use PPE as required.
