Daifuku North America is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician III to perform a range of maintenance tasks in a manufacturing environment in Hobart, Indiana. The role requires reading blueprints, troubleshooting machinery, and hands-on work with sheet metal equipment such as lasers, press brakes, saws, and welding gear.

Responsibilities include repairs per OSHA standards, documenting work orders in CMMS, and supporting continuous improvement projects.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school cert or 5 years industrial electrical exp preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics; troubleshoot and repair machinery.
• Knowledge of building systems, sheet metal fabrication equipment, and electrical wiring (110V–480V).

Mansioni

• Perform repairs following Safety and OSHA requirements.
• Document work orders promptly in CMMS.
• Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and make repairs.
• Install new or purchased equipment.
• Provide information for replacement parts acquisition.
• Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities.
• Assist in inspections of building systems and environmental compliance.
• On-call for emergency repairs when needed.
