Job summary

Alene Candles is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the New Albany, Ohio facility to manage preventive, predictive and reactive maintenance, along with project work to keep the plant running smoothly.

The role is onsite at 8860 Smith's Mill Road, New Albany, OH, with a 3rd shift schedule from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am, Sunday through Thursday. Responsibilities include PLC and robot programming, electrical troubleshooting, and CMMS data handling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience OR an Associate degree with 1+ year experience in mechanical or electrical tech.
• Strong background in Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Industrial, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
• Robotic programming & troubleshooting.
• Preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting/repair/install.
• Perform PLC programming/troubleshooting.
• Perform robot programming/troubleshooting.
• Fabrication, repair of tooling/fixtures.
• Perform preventative maintenance procedures and adjust procedures as needed.
• Perform equipment design, procurement of parts, and installation of new equipment.
• Input and retrieve information from the CMMS system.
