Job summary
Alene Candles is seeking a Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift for our New Albany, Ohio facility. The role focuses on preventative, predictive, reactive maintenance and supports design and project work to keep equipment running smoothly.
Responsibilities include electrical and PLC/robot programming, tooling fabrication, CMMS data entry, and hands-on maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Onsite, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm, Monday–Friday.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of experience, or an Associate degree with 1+ year experience.
- Strong background in Allen Bradley PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience in industrial electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.
- Robotic programming and troubleshooting experience.
- Preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Perform industrial electrical troubleshooting/repair/install.
- Perform PLC programming/troubleshooting.
- Perform robot programming/troubleshooting.
- Fabrication, repair of tooling/fixtures.
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures and adjust procedures as needed.
- Perform equipment design, procurement of parts, and installation of new equipment.
- Input and retrieve information from the CMMS system.
- Must be able to make quick decisions while under pressure.
