Job summary

Moveero is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and plant facilities in Estherville, Iowa on 3rd shift. The role focuses on supporting reliable operation of metal fabrication equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and electrical components on the shop floor.

You will diagnose faults, dismantle and repair components, install PLC-controlled equipment and robots, and work with engineering and vendors.

Qualifications

Two years of experience or education in installing and repairing 110V, 220V, and 440V three‑phase electrical systems.
Experience or education involving PLC and CNC machine controls.
Ability to read blueprints and electrical or mechanical schematics.
Strong, systematic troubleshooting skills.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to work safely in a moderately noisy manufacturing environment.
The ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

Inspect and test machinery to identify faults, wear, and misalignment.
Diagnose problems by monitoring equipment performance.
Dismantle machinery and replace or repair defective components.
Install and repair PLC-controlled equipment, CNC machinery, and robots.
Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic pipework, valves, gauges, and pressure regulators.
Install, program, and repair transformers, wiring, and electrical components.
Use welding and cutting equipment to repair or join metal components.
Complete general repairs to the plant’s physical structures.
Work closely with engineering, operations, contractors, and vendors.
