Best Maid Cookie Company is seeking a Maintenance Technician I for the 3rd shift in York, PA. The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial machinery and electrical systems in a food manufacturing setting.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and maintain records while adhering to Food Safety and GMP standards. Lifting requirements and ladder climbing are part of the job; prior experience in a similar plant helps.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of maintenance experience with electrical skills and knowledge of PLCs.
• Mechanical, pneumatic, welding, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance skills.
• Industrial DC and 3-Phase power systems to 480VAC experience.
• Must be able to stoop, bend and lift up to 50 lbs; stand for long hours.
• Food manufacturing experience preferred; tolerance to common allergens.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair industrial machinery, equipment and electrical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on motors, conveyors, and production machines per manuals and specs.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions by observing equipment, using testing instruments, and replacing parts as needed.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and inventory; communicate actions to teams.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Safety and Sanitation standards and GMPs.
