Job summary

The Killer Brownie Co. in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and support the operations team. Starting pay is $30.00 per hour with weekend availability required.

You will inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment, follow GMP/safety standards, and document activities. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and willingness to overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in industrial or food manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., work on ladders up to 30 feet, and demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Knowledge of PLCs, motors, pumps, valves, and food-grade equipment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operation and upkeep of mechanical, electrical, plumbing systems.
• Assist contractors with maintenance and repair tasks.
• Coordinate with operations to maintain buildings and equipment.
• Perform routine interior maintenance including HVAC cleaning.
• Handle minor plumbing repairs and lighting maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean work area.
• Document maintenance activities and materials used.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns with prompt corrective actions.
• Help train junior technicians as needed.
• Assist in installation and commissioning of new equipment.
