Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a DSC Maintenance Technician for our Fredericksburg Distribution Center. The role requires self-direction and proven knowledge of electrical systems installation and repair, with duties spanning HVAC, robotics, and equipment maintenance.

Schedule: 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 11:00pm - 7:00am with $1.00/hour shift differential. Bonus eligibility applies per company plans. Candidates should have manufacturing/distribution maintenance experience and PLC familiarity.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Two (2) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
One (1) year of maintenance experience applying electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic concepts.
Three (3) years of work experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
Industrial, electrical, and/or welding certification or license.
Formal training in or one (1) year of experience implementing Programmable Logic Controls (PLC).

Responsibilities

HVAC responsibilities.
Robot maintenance and troubleshooting.
Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of equipment including forklifts, hi-lifts, and order pickers, wrappers, vacu-hoists, etc.
Perform preventative maintenance duties as assigned.
Carpentry, electrical maintenance, pipefitting, and plumbing tasks as needed.
Maintenance of DSC systems including fire and security systems (including security gates).
Maintenance on dock doors and dock plates.
Monitor and maintain building and grounds (including snow removal).
