Job summary

Kemps, a farmer-owned brand of DFA, is seeking skilled plant maintenance mechanics to care for production assets and ensure continued operation of machinery across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

The role includes planned and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems, with a 3rd shift 9pm-7am rotating schedule (8 days on, 6 days off). Starting pay is $37.21/hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years field related experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
• Minimum one year experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and beverage industry.
• Minimum one year experience with electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, computer-controlled equipment, PLC and/or HVAC.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend for the majority of the shift.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays
