Job summary

Kemps, a farmer-owned brand of Dairy Farmers of America, has immediate openings for skilled plant maintenance mechanics. Responsibilities include maintaining production assets and utility systems to keep operations running smoothly on a 3rd shift (9pm–7am) with an 8 on/6 off cycle. Starting pay is $37.21/hour.

Qualifications

2-3 years field related experience preferred.
Minimum one year experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing facility, preferably food and beverage industry.
Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks.
Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and unplanned maintenance on production, packaging, processing equipment and utility systems.
Maintain machinery to ensure continued operation across electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, pneumatic and hydraulic capacity.
