Job summary

ASC Engineered Solutions in Liberty, SC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift to install, repair, and maintain complex CNC machine tools and manufacturing equipment.

You will support TPM/TPR initiatives, work with Reliable personnel and contractors, and uphold safety standards in a climate controlled facility. Requires an Associate degree in Mechatronics or related field and 5+ years of machining/repair experience.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Mechatronics or related field.
• 5+ years of diversified machining and repair work.
• Well versed with CNC, electronic control apparatus and machine tool operations, drives, and controls.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement, Lean concepts, TPM, and TPR.
• Team player with attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain complex CNC machine tools and high-precision equipment.
• Assist in developing continuous improvement actions using TPM/TPR concepts.
• Rebuild and overhaul components such as gear boxes, tool changers, cylinders, motors, and pumps.
• Inspect, repair, and replace hydraulic and pneumatic system components.
• Troubleshoot and replace electrical devices like contactors and I/O cards.
• Perform preventive maintenance and offline testing of components.
• Collaborate with Reliable personnel and contractors on installation, rebuilding, and difficult repairs.
• Promote a safe workplace and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Perform other duties as directed.
