Aerotek in Toledo, OH is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems up to 480V 3‑phase, including motors, VFDs, and control panels. You will read blueprints, perform preventive maintenance, and support mechanical systems such as pumps and gearboxes.

This contract‑to‑hire role runs 11 PM–7 AM (may cover 1st shift). Pay starts at $34.73/hr with an eventual union rate of $38.06/hr, plus a small shift premium; excellent benefits and weekly pay are

Pay/Shift/Additional Information:

• Pay: 34.73/hr.
• Pay Increases to $38.06 once hired into Union
• 3rd shift from 11 PM to 7 AM - Need to be open to 1st Shift as well
• Shift Premium: $0.25 for second & $0.50 for third

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to perform both electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repairs in a dynamic environment. You will work on systems up to 480V 3-phase, including motors, VFDs, control panels, and more. Your role will also involve diagnosing and repairing mechanical systems such as pumps, gearboxes, steam boilers, and pneumatic equipment. The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics is essential, as is a commitment to preventative maintenance and facility improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs on equipment up to 480V 3-phase systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, VFDs, control panels, wiring, fuses, and electrical components.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems including pumps, gearboxes, steam boilers, dryer systems, and pneumatic equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Execute facility maintenance projects including lighting upgrades and wiring modifications.
• Fabricate components and perform MIG and Stick welding as needed.
• Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and process improvement projects.
• Repair and maintain forklifts and other support equipment as required.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate equipment issues to management.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $34.73 - $34.73/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
