Location: Remote (Texas home base)

Reports to: Field Service Manager

Department: Field Service

Position Summary:

This role is primarily responsible for providing or coordinating equipment start-ups, demonstrations, and promotional services to customers. These include new and existing equipment demonstrations, troubleshooting via telephone, training, and field service work. The position also involves reporting on warranty and product quality. A comprehensive knowledge of all Marathon products is required, with a willingness to learn other ESG offerings.

Essential Job Functions:

Demonstration/Promotional Responsibilities:

• Be recognized as the company expert in operating and demonstrating ESG's products, including Heil, Marathon, 3rd Eye, Bayne, and Curotto brands.
• Collaborate nationwide with RMs, KAMs, dealers, and end-users to demonstrate equipment.
• Support sales through equipment operation, management, and maintenance.
• Enhance brand exposure at dealer and consumer events, including trade shows and expos.

Technical Service Responsibilities:

• Handle customer inquiries, troubleshoot, and repair products in the field.
• Perform remote repairs via modems and update programs as needed.
• Modify engineering designs, including PLC/controller programming and hydraulic/electrical circuits.
• Inspect products during production to ensure quality and reliability.
• Complete reports and present findings related to field start-ups and quality deviations.
• Assist with installations, training, and troubleshooting at customer sites.
• Travel extensively (up to 98%) and operate company and personal vehicles.

Other Job Functions:

• Attend training, trade shows, and customer events.
• Collaborate with engineering on R&D projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

• Minimum 2-year technical education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to travel extensively (up to 98%).
• Strong understanding of arithmetic, hydraulic and electrical principles, blueprints, and data processing.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand/walk for 50%, and perform repetitive tasks.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
