Wellfleet Workplace Benefits, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, seeks an experienced Workplace (Voluntary) Benefits professional to support the Wellfleet sales team and Wellfleet Workplace block of business.
A successful candidate will strategically work with sales reps and internal partners to win, onboard, implement, and manage new accounts. This candidate will be responsible for multitasking, ensuring broker and client satisfaction, and assisting internal partners.

In this role, you will…
- Support the Wellfleet sales team with broker onboarding and case implementation
- Handle the RFI and RFP process for Wellfleet Workplace
- Participate with the sales team in presentations as needed
- Provide leadership, relationship management, and subject matter expertise to new and renewing policyholders, ensuring successful implementation, enrollment/re-enrollment and ongoing support for assigned clients.
- Responsible for quarterbacking the implementation and ongoing account management process, ensuring a smooth experience for the life of the policy.
- Ensure details are understood so that administrative processes and system(s) are established correctly
- Facilitates calls with all stakeholders to ensure accurate completion of all key deliverables in the implementation process. Identify implementation-related problems and work with manager or senior leaders to resolve issues
- Monitor and ensure operational readiness, accurate plan design, and efficient customer structure. Conduct weekly or periodic status meetings with various parties to review progress and resolve issues
- Coordinate with Marketing team for all enrollment communication materials
- Own the enrollment and re-enrollment event and results, inclusive of expenses. In partnership with the sales team, own the achievement of proper enrollment conditions and participation results, including upsell/cross-sell opportunities on assigned accounts, while ensuring persistence and growth
- Provides deliverables to client and broker regarding marketing material, contracts, etc.
- Provides customer service to brokers, sales reps, and clients throughout the life of a case.
- Educates internal and external parties on case implementation process, procedures and support
- Work closely with administrators, underwriters, and other internal departments to facilitate smooth operational functions
- Own all issues, including escalations for assigned block of business.Works directly with the resolution team to identify root cause, and communicates resolutions to client as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Responsible for assisting internal stakeholders in obtaining information related to assigned accounts in a timely manner
- Provides continual education to sponsors, brokers, enrollment firms, and other 3rd parties on enhancements to products, company processes, policies and procedures, website services and navigation, etc.
- Responsible for oversight, monitoring and compliance on assigned cases, especially cases with performance guarantees
- Must maintain thorough knowledge of all service activities associated with assigned clients. Work with assigned clients and internal partners to resolve and prevent issues.
- Proactively anticipates operational problems and identifies opportunities for improvement. Work with internal and external operational partners to identify and implement solutions. Contributes to and participates in departmental and organization-wide projects and committees designed to enhance service, improve efficiency, and improve knowledge
- Develops, communicates, maintains and manages the detailed project plan, timeline for account implementation projects and ensures deadlines, milestones, and success criteria are met or exceeded through timely coordination and communication of the details necessary to complete an account implementation project by the agreed upon effective date

We are looking for candidates with…
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, or related field, and at least 3 years of voluntary insurance experience servicing accounts, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Possess and maintain an active and valid Accident, Health and Sales Producer license or have the ability to obtain required industry licensing
- Demonstrated success in dealing with sophisticated employer clients, brokers/consultants, enrollment firms, and other 3rd party partners involved in the insurance processing lifecycle
- Willingness to travel when necessary
- Detail oriented with the ability to problem-solve while managing competing priorities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with excellent customer service soft skills
- Strong consultation, negotiation, persuasion and influencing skills
- Ability to build and maintain collaborative working relationships at all levels
- Solid knowledge of group insurance, products, contracts, compliance requirements, and services
- Knowledge of underwriting principles and practices
- Experiencewithcustomerrelationshipmanagement(CRM)systems, specifically Salesforce
- Ability to work with leaders to develop and document desired business capabilities
