Job summary

Winona Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Green Bay, WI facility. Under the Maintenance Supervisor, you will repair and maintain production equipment and facility systems to meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include reading electrical schematics, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, setting up new lines, and training maintenance staff. Requires 3+ years of related experience or an associate degree in electrical maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred in electrical maintenance; alternative is high school diploma with 3+ years related experience.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
• Proficiency with maintenance work order software and MS Office recommended.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain production equipment to company standards.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Read electrical schematics and diagnose failures.
• Set up new equipment lines and perform changeovers.

  • Level 3 - $31.00-$35.00 per hour
• 3rd Shift Premium - $2.00 per hour

Summary:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production equipment and buildings to company standard.

Job Duties:

• PC to PLC program maintenance, troubleshooting, and control devices
• Effectively use hand tools and electric or pneumatic power tools
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment
• Read electrical schematics
• Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical failure of operational equipment
• Set up new equipment lines and equipment changeovers
• Train production and other maintenance personnel
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects on due dates
• Work on electrical systems up to 480 VAC
• Strong knowledge in motor control circuits, automated valves and process controls
• Ensure that all processes are followed
• Complete daily work order log
• Complete PM’s as assigned
• Follow parts check out procedure
• Follow all GMP standards
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance preferred or High School Diploma plus at least three years of related experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis
• Experience with a Windows-based computer system (Microsoft Office programs and Maintenance Work Order software)
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as blueprints, schematics, work orders, etc
• Ability to write standard documentation and effectively present information to other employees
• This position may require forklift certification
