Job summary

Winona Foods in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Team Lead for the Production department on the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm). The role pays $28.00 per hour including incentives and requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least six months of related experience.

The Team Lead will guide line personnel, ensure safe and efficient production, and support training and process improvements. Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, you will oversee the line, manage paperwork, maintain GMP

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• At least six months of related experience to become familiar with processes and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with a Windows-based computer system and Microsoft Office programs is necessary.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents.
• Ability to write standard documentation and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to team members including safety, line setup, paperwork verification, and inventory control.
• Follow all safety protocols and support line samples and team training.
• Check-ins for all team members to ensure support and engagement.
• Communicate with Maintenance to provide insight into line breakdowns and assist in process improvements.
• Train Back-Up Supervisors and Back-Up Operators as needed.
• Maintain a clean work environment and comply with GMP standards.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Team Lead works closely with the employees on their respective line to while providing direction to drive overall performance in the department.

Job Duties:

1. Provide direction to team members including but not limited to:
   1. Safe job performance
   2. Proper line set-up
   3. Paperwork verification
   4. Job responsibilities
   5. Work area cleanliness

2. Follow all safety protocols
3. Provide support for line samples
4. Provide support for team member training
5. Check‑ins for all team members to ensure support and engagement
6. Communicate with Maintenance to provide insight into line breakdowns
7. Assist Supervisor to drive and test process improvements
8. Train to Back‑Up Supervisor on an as‑needed basis
9. Train to Back‑Up Operators on an as‑needed basis
10. Accurate inventory Control of all packaging materials and finished goods pallets
11. Maintain a clean work environmentComply with GMP standards as set forth by company
12. All other duties as assigned
