Job summary

A machine maintenance technician II at Astemo Ltd. will be responsible for preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and performing repairs to minimize downtime and improve production efficiency.

The role is within the IPM department on the 3rd shift, requiring thorough safety compliance and accurate record-keeping. Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED with at least 3 years of related experience, and familiarity with Windows, Excel, and Glovia.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years work-related experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance on machines per schedules and guidelines.
• Replace/repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors.
• Identify and diagnose mechanical/electrical problems in machines.
• Collaborate with team to analyze and resolve technical problems.
• Calibrate and align machinery for optimal performance.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
• Adhere to safety protocols and comply with industry regulations.
