Astemo Ltd. seeks a Machine Maintenance Technician II to ensure reliable operation of our production equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose issues, and complete repairs to minimize downtime and improve quality.

This role is focused within the IPM Department on 2nd Shift, requiring hands-on problem solving, accurate documentation, and strict adherence to safety standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain optimal performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years work-related experience
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC

Responsabilités

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on machines and equipment per schedules
• Replace or repair defective parts such as belts, bearings, motors, or sensors
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and abnormalities
• Collaborate with team to resolve technical issues
• Calibrate and align machinery to ensure accuracy
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and parts used

As a Machine Maintenance Technician II, you will play a critical role in our organization by ensuring the proper functioning, reliability, and longevity of Astemo's machinery and equipment. Your primary responsibilities will be to perform preventative maintenance, diagnose and troubleshoot issues, and carry out repairs in order to minimize downtime and optimize production efficiency and quality.

This role will be focused within the new IPM Department on 2nd Shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks on a variety of machines and equipment, according to maintenance schedules and guidelines
• Replace or repair defective parts such as; belts, bearings, motors, or sensors
• Identify and diagnose mechanical, electrical problems or abnormalities in the machines
• Collaborate with team members and team leads to analyze and resolve complex technical problems
• Calibrate and align machinery to ensure optimal performance and accuracy
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with the machinery, as well as comply with industry regulations and standards to ensure equipment is operating within legal and safety parameters
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimize operational disruptions

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 3 years work-related experience.
• Knowledge of computer systems and spreadsheets necessary to perform job duties
• Knowledge of both high and low voltages AC & DC

Preferred Qualifications

• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Robot teaching and programming experience
