Job summary

MCC is seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Tech/Electrician at our Neenah facility. You will ensure electrical schematics and instrumentation are current, troubleshoot during downtime, perform repairs and complete preventive maintenance on production equipment.

Responsibilities include emergency repairs, scheduled maintenance, and supporting Lean Manufacturing and 5S. The role requires reading schematics, multitasking and physical strength to handle heavy equipment as needed.

Qualifications

One or more years of experience in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic applications.
Ability to read electrical schematics; vocational maintenance training preferred.
Basic knowledge of computers and operating systems.
Ability to multi-task and identify and execute process improvements as needed.
Strong problem-solving skills to assess product output against specifications.
Physical ability to climb stairs, bend, sit, stand, walk and handle material for extended periods.
Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment in a multi-shift environment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Supports Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
Maintains and repairs the facility.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
