Job summary

NOVO Health Services in Ravenna, OH is seeking a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant to support repairs and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment. You will assist experienced maintenance technicians, read blueprints, and help fabricate or modify parts as needed.

The role requires mechanical skills, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and a valid driver’s license. Overtime is paid at double rate when hours exceed 40 per week.

Qualifications

• Experience performing mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with welding, plumbing, carpentry, steam or hydraulics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventative maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Support industrial maintenance techs in repairing, modifying or fabricating parts.
• Interpret blueprints and shop drawings to complete tasks accurately.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness while performing duties.
