Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Tech Assistant for our Ravenna, OH healthcare facility. You will support 3rd shift operations, performing repairs, adjustments and preventative maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment under supervision.

Ideal candidates will have mechanical aptitude, ability to read blueprints, and basic math skills. Valid driver's license and willingness to work nights are required; we offer a competitive hourly rate and benefits package.

NOVO Heath Services is accepting applications for a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant at our Healthcare facility located in Ravenna, OH.

This position is responsible for assisting in performing repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventative maintenance tasks on laundry and boiler room equipment.

The successful candidates will be responsible in assisting our industrial maintenance techs to repair, modify or make new parts for any mechanical equipment.

Must be able to visually analyze blueprints, shop drawings and work out mathematical problems pertaining to each trade. Experience in mechanical, welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam and hydraulics preferred. Math, reading and writing skills, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, steam, hydraulics and welding skills, good attendance, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, with repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching, manual dexterity required. Valid driver's license is required. Computer literacy is preferred.

3rd shift works 10pm-6am, Sunday-Saturday on a rotating day off schedule with overtime as needed. (until further notice OT is paid at DOUBLE rate for all hours over 40/week).
