Job summary

NOVO Health Services is accepting applications for a 3rd shift Maintenance Tech Assistant at our Healthcare facility located in Ravenna, OH. This position assists in repairs, adjustments, overhauls, and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment, supporting our industrial maintenance team with repairs and part fabrication as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical, welding, carpentry, plumbing, pneumatics, steam and hydraulics preferred.
• Math, reading and writing skills, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, steam, hydraulics and welding skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Computer literacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing repairs, adjustments, overhauls and preventive maintenance on laundry and boiler room equipment.
• Assist industrial maintenance techs to repair, modify or make new parts for mechanical equipment.
• Visualize and interpret blueprints and shop drawings; perform basic calculations.
