Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. is seeking a maintenance technician to schedule and perform preventative maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC, boilers, and related equipment. You will inspect facilities, assist with insulation & logkeeping, and ensure safety practices are followed.

Candidate should read diagrams, use CMMS and MS Office, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in mechanical/HVAC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and possess basic mathematical skills.
• Must read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams.
• Must complete Basic Ammonia Operator training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance and services.
• Troubleshoot and repair ammonia refrigeration system.
• Perform inspections of HVAC, boiler/condenser systems and logs.
• Operate forklifts and aerial platforms with safety.
• Maintain housekeeping of assigned areas and follow GMPs.
